Traditionally Lemongrass has been used for the treatment of digestive issues and high blood pressure. The essential oil has been recently used for aromatherapy for anxiety and depression. It has even been found to be an antibacterial in a scientific study where it worked against skin infections, pneumonia, blood infections and serious intestinal infections.
